Dr Saeed was born in Cairo and underwent his orthodontic training in Egypt. He was awarded his bachelor degree with honours in 2007. During the period of 2007 to 2010 he practiced orthodontics in one of the most famous orthodontic centres in Cairo (Smile Dental Centre) under the supervision and guidance of a group of highly experienced specialists.
In 2011, he commenced his postgraduate training programme in Egypt, which included treating complex cases, giving lectures and seminars, teaching undergraduate students and doing a research project. At the American Association of Orthodontics’ meeting in 2017, his research project was selected to be presented as part of the academic course of the meeting.
After practicing orthodontics for nine years in Egypt, Dr Saeed decided to move to Australia to start practicing here in Melbourne as a registered general dentist with a special interest in orthodontics. He completed his Australian Dental Council exams in 2015 and became a member of the Australian Dental Association in 2016. He is currently going through the Australian Specialist Orthodontist accreditation process.
Dr Saeed has 10 years of experience in the field of orthodontics, but outside of work is passionate about jazz music and plays the saxophone as a hobby.
